Abstract Submission

The invitation to submit an abstract for those who work in the area of “The Rising Asia: Its Quest Towards Sustainable Development” and alike is due on 25th April 2012 An abstract of at most 300-word length should be submitted via e-mail to academic@icesforum.org with the subject indicating ‘abstract: the title of your paper’. Preferably, both MS-Word and PDF formats can be accepted until 28th May 2012.

Required Contents

The abstract is required to contain the following contents:

  1. Title of the paper
  2. The Author(s)’ name (surname in CAPITALS)
  3. Affiliation and post, postal address, telephone/fax numbers and e-mail address
  4. Abstract (please follow guidelines below)
  5. Preferred concurrent session.

Concurrent Sessions

  1. Socio-political Structure: The Foundation of Development
  2. Economic System: The Fuel of Prosperity
  3. Environmental Management: The Path to Sustainable Future

Guidelines for Preparing the Abstract

  1. Paragraph setting: Justified paragraph, single spacing, with 1.5 inches for left and right margins of 1.5 inch (3.81 cm) and 1 inch for top and bottom margins (2.54 cm).
  2. Font: Times New Roman 12pt.
  3. Please indicate three key words at the end of abstract

Full Paper Submission

Full papers are expected to reach the organizing committee by 28th May 2012 via email to academic@icesforum.org The maximum number of words is 5000. The format is the same as one used in abstract. Once again, both MS Word and pdf formats are preferred.

Notification of Acceptance

All full papers will be reviewed by anonymous referees. The authors will be notified of acceptance by 22nd June 2012 via e-mail. Upon acceptance, the authors might also be asked to be a discussant of other papers and/or the Chair of the concurrent session, where appropriate.
